How to cook pasta, a general introduction.

Sauces with fish

• Pasta with clams (pasta alle vongole). This is an easy version of the recipe that uses canned clams; the true recipe would call for fresh clams.
• Pasta with broccoli and pine nuts (pasta ai broccoli e pinoli). Broccoli, pine nuts, anchovies (optional).

Sauces with meat

• Pasta alla carrettiera. Porcini mushrooms, tunafish, and bacon.
• Pasta all'amatriciana. Bacon, tomato sauce, red pepper.

Vegetarian sauces

• Pasta Arrabiata. "Angry Pasta," a garlic, hot pepper, and tomato based sauce.
• Eggplant pasta. Eggplants, tomato sauce.
• Pasta with tomato sauce. This is the simplest of all pastas, and it is a favorite of kids.
• Pasta with zucchini. Fried zucchini.

Rice

• Risotto allo zafferano: saffron risotto.
• Risotto al pomodoro: tomato-sauce risotto.

Pizza

There are many pizza recipes.

• Pizza in trays. This method of making pizza enables you to easily make large quantities (6-10 oven trays).

Meat
